| 授業の目的・概要 Objectives and Outline of the Course |

| 日本の伝統的な工芸や芸能などに見られる「デザイン」を歴史的、視覚効果的な側面から検証する。 できるだけ多くの事例に触れるとともに、そのデザインの由来、変遷について調べてゆく姿勢を身につける。 とくに、京都の文化、伝統に見られる造形領域の視覚形成過程を中心にその特性を解明し、体験を通じて人間の造形活動における視覚形成を探求する。 |
| This course examines "designs" found in Japanese arts and crafts, and Japanese traditional performing arts from historical and visual effect perspectives. Students will be exposed to as many examples as possible and learn to investigate the origin and transition of the designs. In particular, the course will focus on the visual formation process in the field of art and design in Kyoto's culture and traditions, and explore the characteristics of visual formation in the human formative arts through hands-on experience. |

| 見学、調査などについては、開講時に指示するが、基本的には掲示により適宜指示する。 本学では1単位当たりの学修時間を45時間としています。毎回の授業にあわせて事前学修・事後学修を行ってください。 |
| Detailed information on field trips, surveys, etc. will be given at the beginning of the course, but will basically be posted as appropriate. Please note that KIT requires 45 hours of study from students to award one credit, including both in-class instructions as well as study outside classes. Students are required to prepare for each class and complete the review after each class. |
